Fall Songs

THE APPLE TREE
Way up high in the apple tree (raise arms high)
Two little apples smiled at me (smile and hold up 2 fingers)
I shook that tree as hard as I could (pretend to shake tree)
Down came the apples (bring hands down)
Mm were they good! (rub tummy)

5 RED APPLES
5 Red apples hanging in a tree (hold up 5 fingers)
The juiciest apples you ever did see
The wind came by and gave an angry frown (fingers flutter downward)
And one little apple came tumbling down (put one finger down)
4 red apples hanging in a tree etc.

APPLE SONG
(to the tune of Have You Ever Seen A Lassie?)
Have you ever seen an apple, an apple, an apple
Have you ever seen an apple that grows on a tree?
A red one, a yellow one, a red one, a yellow one
Have you ever seen an apple that grows on a tree?

WHO STOLE THE APPLE FROM THE APPLE TREE
(to the tune of Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar)
Who stole the apple from the apple tree?
___________stole the apple from the apple tree!
Who? Me?
Yes! You!
Couldn’t be!
Then who?
_________stole the apple from the apple tree. Repeat

Five Little Squirrels
Five little squirrels sitting in a tree.
The first one said, “What do I see?”
The second one said, “Some nuts on the ground.”
The third one said, “Those are nuts I found.”
The fourth one said, “I’ll race you there.”
The fifth one said, “All right, that’s fair.”
So they shook their tails and ran with glee!
To the nuts that lay at the foot of the tree.

Twisting, Turning
Like a leaf or a feather
(twist body around and around)
In the windy, windy weather
We will whirl around, and twirl around
And all sink down together
(lower body to the floor)

Five Little Leaves
Five little leaves so bright and gay
(everyone standing in a circle)
Were dancing about on a tree one day.
(dancing in place)
The wind came blowing through the town
(everybody blow to make a “ooooo” sound)
One little leaf came tumbling down.
(one leaf drops to the ground)
Four little leaves so bright and gay….repeat
